Brown & Brown is seeking an Audit Compliance Professional to join our growing team! 

The Audit Compliance Professional assists external clients with onboarding & on-going compliance within the book of business. This position is expected to work general, day shift hours in accordance with company guidelines.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Manage the client on-boarding implementation process;  As it pertains to compliance on-boarding.

  • Conduct client benefit discussions with all parties and ensure that the client signs off on all implementation documents

  • Submit all signature documents relating to compliance to appropriate carriers or third parties.

  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with vendors, as well as internal staff;

  • Manage implementation of all compliance related issues, and renewals for third parties.

  • Monitor, track and report implementation status and performance of compliance related materials, internally and to the client.

  • Assist clients with HR audit support.

  • Work with Producer or Benefits Consultant to develop implementation strategy and timeline (to be presented by the producer or Benefits Consultant).

  • Utilize Agency Management System as required by company policy.

  • Assist with coordination of client service initiatives including, but not limited to online enrollment systems, Coordination of Health Fairs and Wellness initiatives, website tools, member surveys, open enrollment materials and meeting schedules, etc.

  • Assist with day to day compliance questions from our clients.

  • Assist with compliance for clients including, but not limited to, 5500, wrap documents, 1094/95, ERISA, etc.

  • Work within Brokerage Briefcase to communicate changes in required compliance for Benefits staff, internally, as well as, client base, externally.

  • Establish 3rd party vendors and associated costs for client base.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Life, Health, and Annuity License (within six (6) months of employment).

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • College Degree (preferred)

  • CEBS designation, is a plus. (preferred)

  • Insurance Carrier/HR background (preferred)

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • Clear knowledge of Group Benefit Plans.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to write and verbally communicate in a professional manner.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

  • 2-3 years Agency experience.

  • This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.  If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.

Pay Range

$100,000 - $120,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
