What You Will Do:Â Â
Work cooperatively with the production team to ensure workplace safety and product quality while meeting production goalsÂ
Complete packaging tasks such as case filling, box assembly, and pallet stackingÂ
Comply with all written Workplace Safety rules and other safety requirements and standards consistentlyÂ
Comply with all written food safety Good Manufacturing Practices and other requirements and standards consistentlyÂ
Report all safety and quality concerns to LeadershipÂ
Work on a packaging line with consistent speed and accuracyÂ
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising qualityÂ
Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe work area Â
Perform assigned material management tasks to ensure an efficient, organized, and safe work areaÂ
Use tools and equipment correctly and maintain them with careÂ
Willingness to comply with all safety rulesÂ
Report any tool and equipment issues to LeadershipÂ
Follow all written and verbal instructionsÂ
Attend all safety and production meetings and trainingsÂ
Demonstrate ability to perform tasks using computer applicationsÂ

Qualifications:Â
Required:Â Â
High school diploma or GED equivalentÂ
Minimum 1 year of experience working in an industrial production facilityÂ
Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manualsÂ
Basic math, reading, and writing skillsÂ
Basic computer skillsÂ
Â
Preferred:Â
At least 1 year of coffee industry experience is strongly desired Â
At least 1 year of food manufacturing experience is strongly desiredÂ
Â
Physical Demands:Â
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking in addition to the following:Â
Able condition to work 8 hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reachingÂ
Must be able to work on your feet over 9 straight hoursÂ
Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basisÂ
Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shiftÂ
Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shiftÂ
Must be able to handle/move up to 750 pound bins on castersÂ

Physical Requirements:Â

 The target hourly range for this position is $17-$18 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
