The Front Office Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Rooms in managing the front office function; ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management, and reservations systems, safety and emergency procedures, etc.Job Description

Requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent phone & verbal communication skills.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum of 3- 5 years experience in a similar role at an upscale hotel
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 4-year college degree preferred
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Previous supervisory hotel聽experience preferred.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Flexible schedule- must be able to work nights/overnights, weekends, holidays

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures the credit check report is completed on every shift.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee airline crew arrival preparation process
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Report/log all guest issues in weblog/groupme and update gust profiles accordingly
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures that all room discrepancies are cleared.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversees blocking of special room requests for next day鈥檚 arrivals.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains a neat and orderly control desk and area.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Consistently presents a polished and professional role model image to guests, coworkers, and other departments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete job duties as listed on their shift checklist in a timely manner and alerts the Director of Front office if assistance is needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform any other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager, Director of Operations, and General Manager.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates out of order rooms with housekeeping and engineering
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures posting of all charges.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Inspects associates at the beginning of each shift to ensure grooming standards are met.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct pre-shift meetings before the start of each shift
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that the department鈥檚 schedule is prepared and posted by the weekly deadline
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that Travel Pass enrollment weekly and monthly goals are met
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Review Guestware, update Travel Pass member status and prepare welcome letters accordingly
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that weekly advocate goals are met
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor ADP, correct missing punches, and approve payroll
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist in controlling expenses and minimizing waste in all areas of the front office. Participate as needed in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the hotel.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct daily guest room and suite inspections ensuring Sonesta Standards are being met.

Pay rate $25.00 - $26.00
Non-Union: The base pay offered may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and specific/overall experience.
