Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting the Director, Real Estate Investments; Investment Manager; and Director, Portfolio Development. Working across multiple project assignments: redevelopment, refinancing, and asset strategy decisions along with exposure to the real estate professional through hands-on portfolio inventory work, financial analysis, and underwriting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Redevelopment Analysis & Portfolio Documentation

Support market research, comparable analysis, demographic and parcel research, proforma support, and portfolio inventory efforts to identify redevelopment and adjacent land opportunities while maintaining accurate site documentation and portfolio data.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio inventory that supports strategic planning, asset evaluation, and identification of value-add opportunities across the real estate portfolio.
  • Conduct site visits and maintain standardized documentation on property condition, operational considerations, and surrounding context to support portfolio visibility and decision-making.
  • Identify and communicate notable property conditions, risks, and maintenance considerations observed during site reviews.
  • Perform parcel and property research to support redevelopment analysis, land-use evaluation, and identification of strategic opportunities within and adjacent to the portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a centralized source of portfolio information, including sites, parcel, building, and operating data, to improve consistency and access across the team.
  • Document findings in standardized asset summaries that can be used consistently across the portfolio for reporting and evaluation purposes.


Refinance Program & Financial Analysis Support 

Support refinance transactions through lender package preparation, due diligence coordination, document tracking, milestone reporting, and underwriting analysis, with exposure to the full refinance process from broker selection through closing.

  • Support portfolio-wide financial analysis and underwriting activities that inform refinancing, disposition, repositioning, and broader investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain asset-level financial models and proformas in partnership with investment leadership to support evaluation of property performance and strategic alternatives.
  • Contribute analytical support for refinancing initiatives, including market comparisons, scenario analysis, and preparation of materials for lender review.
  • Assist with disposition analysis by supporting valuation, cash flow review, and preparation of information needed for marketing and transaction execution.
  • Provide ad hoc financial, market, and portfolio analysis to support leadership priorities and emerging business needs.


Special Projects & Platform Development

Support analytical and research-driven special projects, including asset evaluations, market analysis, lease abstraction, capital expenditure tracking, and database/platform development initiatives.

  • Support the development of data and platform infrastructure that strengthens portfolio reporting, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Help design, organize, and maintain portfolio data structures that improve the quality, accessibility, and consistency of key asset information.
  • Support development of standardized reporting and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insight for ownership and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better data management, reporting processes, and workflow automation.
  • Integrate site, financial, and portfolio data into a cohesive view that supports more informed analysis and investment planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, business, data analytics, or a related field
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret portfolio, property, and financial data.
  • Working knowledge of underwriting, accounting, and budgeting concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to conduct site visits and gather field-based property information.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Experience with multifamily assets 
  • Experience with loan closings and associated analytics

Other:

  • Driver’s license and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Travel 10%

  • Ability to maneuver on ladders and scaffolding, walk through sand or mud, climb on and around vehicles and construction equipment.

Pay Range: $27.00 to $33.00 hourly, plus discretionary incentive program. 

Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
