About You: We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Technician for the installation, termination, inspection, maintenance, repair, service, wire pulling and certification of commercial systems. Upon starting with LVC Companies, you will be required to be a member of IBEW 110 or 292.

Essential Functions:
- Installation of electronic cable as per specifications and NEC codes.
- Basic wiring and installation of hardware used in AV and Sound systems.
- Operation of cable testing equipment to ensure system performance.
- Plan and initiate projects.
- Install and service AV and Sound systems.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
- Install pathways and spaces for installation of low voltage wiring.
- Lay out, install and verify operation of AV and Sound systems.
- Install communications and sound distribution systems.
- Meet all installation deadlines.
- Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items.
- Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NEC 70 and other applicable codes.
- Ability to maintain or acquire local licenses and/or required certifications.
Qualifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Associate's degree in electronics is preferred.
- Minimum of two years industry experience. (Industry experience will be considered on an individual basis.)
- A working knowledge of low voltage systems is required.
- MN PLT license.Â
