Position Summary: The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. This role requires reading blueprints, performing quality checks, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position will start in Maple Grove and move to our Dayton, MN facility in Summer 2026. 1st shift: 5:30 am - 3:00 pm M-Th; 6:00 am - 10:00 am F 2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 1:30 am M-Th Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings Select and install appropriate tooling (dies, punches) for each job Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve proper dimensions Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain accurate production and inspection records Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to improve processes Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns  Qualifications & Requirements: Required: High school diploma or GED (technical or trade training preferred) 3+ years of experience operating press brakes or similar metal fabrication equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) Strong attention to detail and quality Basic math and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with CNC press brake controls is a plus Preferred: Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience Physical & Work Environment: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Work performed in a warehouse/manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations May require overtime, weekends, or shift coverage based on production needs  Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental plans Short-term and long-term disability insurance Group term life insurance coverage HSA, FSA, and Dependent Care plans available 8 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, and generous PTO policy 401k matching Company paid events Annual safety shoe allowance Education assistance program EEO Statement: MAS HVAC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
