About the Role
Chandler Industries is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Blaine, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is looking to grow in a precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate CNC machines, support production processes, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You’ll work alongside experienced team members while building your skills in machining and inspection.Â

What You’ll Do:
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components to specificationÂ
- Load and unload materials and work-pieces into machinesÂ
- Review job documentation (routers, control plans, blueprints, inspection instructions) to ensure accurate setup and sequencingÂ
- Perform basic inspections using standard measuring tools to verify part qualityÂ
- Deburr and perform surface finishing operations such as sandingÂ
- Monitor machines and parts during operation to identify and report issuesÂ
- Replace tooling and assist with basic machine adjustments as neededÂ
- Maintain coolant and oil levels and complete routine preventative maintenance checksÂ
- Handle materials, tooling, and parts throughout production processesÂ
- Accurately record job data and labor in ERP systemÂ
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)Â
- Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE and OSHA requirementsÂ
- Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement effortsÂ
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals)Â
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnÂ
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in EnglishÂ
- Ability to learn blueprint reading and basic inspection techniquesÂ
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervisionÂ
- Reliable attendance and punctualityÂ
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitudeÂ
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Previous CNC operator or manufacturing experienceÂ
- Exposure to blueprints, machining, or inspection toolsÂ
- CNC Machine Technology or related certificationÂ
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to operate multiple machines as neededÂ
- Ability to learn basic machine offsets and axis movements.
- Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations)
