JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator, Interior Renovations plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of interior renovation projects by managing the full lifecycle of project pricing, procurement, and vendor coordination. This individual works closely with estimators, accounting, and purchasing to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely bid preparation from start to finish.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  •  Prepare customer bids in a timely manner based on material and labor takeoffs provided by the estimating team
  • Obtain and maintain current vendor part pricing for all active projects; negotiate best pricing and manage relationships with approved suppliers
  • Source vendor products based on customer specifications; propose comparable alternatives when needed to meet budget or availability requirements
  • Place purchase orders or collaborate with the purchasing team to provide necessary information for material procurement
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for each unit and provide to accounting for accurate unit cost tracking
  • Serve as an internal resource for project coordination in lieu of estimation functions
  • Coordinate material orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communication specific to Interior Renovations projects
  • Monitor project progress and track milestones to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources and support project execution
  • Communicate project status updates and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including proposals, budgets, and reports

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in project coordination, administration, or construction support roles
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy across all cost and procurement documentation
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across internal teams
  • Problem-solving ability to identify missing costs, resolve gaps in scope, or find alternative solutions under time   pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Logicstek, Quotewerks, etc. is preferred
