Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist / Project Manager to support our Great Lakes Regional environmental remediation team based in the Twin Cities, MN. This role combines project management, client engagement, technical reporting, and 20–30% fieldwork. Your Key Responsibilities

• Project Management:
  • Develop proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage safety planning and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Client & Agency Interface:
  • Serve as primary client contact and foster relationships.
  • Communicate with State Agencies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and implement Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater
  • Lead and implement remediation projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, and grant applications.
  • Review and interpret data against state and federal standards.
• Field Work (20–30%):
  • Conduct site investigations, sampling, and inspections.
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Team Development & Growth:
  • Mentor junior staff and manage field teams.
  • Support business development and proposal efforts.
