ERP Integration Engineer
Drive ERP Integration, Data Strategy & Business Systems Innovation
Since 1968, Productivity Inc. has been a leader in CNC machine tool sales, service, and automation integration. As we continue to grow and modernize our business systems, we’re looking for a technically skilled and business-minded Systems Integration Engineer to help lead application development, ERP integrations, and data connectivity across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through technology, collaborating across departments, and building reliable, scalable integrations and applications that keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
ERP Integration & Data Management
- Play a key role in an upcoming ERP migration initiativeÂ
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP platforms and internal/external systemsÂ
- Analyze ERP data structures and business requirements to support operations, reporting, governance, and securityÂ
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, failed interfaces, and data errorsÂ
- Support ERP upgrades, testing, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and system reliabilityÂ
Application Development & Systems Support
- Develop and maintain applications, interfaces, reports, portals, workflows, and business rulesÂ
- Modify, test, debug, and deploy software enhancements and integration updatesÂ
- Improve existing systems and processes through automation and optimizationÂ
- Build and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutionsÂ
Business Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with departments to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for process improvementÂ
- Translate business requirements into technical solutionsÂ
- Work closely with end users, vendors, and IT team members to deliver high-quality resultsÂ
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and technical concepts clearly and effectivelyÂ
Documentation & Data Integrity
- Maintain documentation for integrations, mappings, workflows, schedules, dependencies, and error handlingÂ
- Ensure database integrity, security, data quality, archiving, and de-duplication practicesÂ
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports accurately and on timeÂ
Additional Support Responsibilities
- Assist with occasional server, infrastructure, network, and end-user support needsÂ
- Support security administration and hardware connectivity when neededÂ
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company dataÂ
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with ERP systems, ERP integrations, and business application supportÂ
- Strong SQL/database experience, including querying, reporting, and data integrationÂ
- Experience with SQL-based ERP systemsÂ
- Experience with .NET programming / .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, or related technologies)Â
- Experience with APIs, ETL processes, data mapping, and system integrationsÂ
- Knowledge of relational databases and Microsoft technologiesÂ
- Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence conceptsÂ
- Experience with ERP migrations or large-scale system implementations is highly desirableÂ
- Understanding of data governance, security, and integration best practicesÂ
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departmentsÂ
