Position Overview
We are hiring for a Field Trainer to provide targeted training and in-classroom support across both corporate centers and franchise locations, with a clear distinction in scope and delivery. This role will support both our corporate and franchise locations.
For corporate centers, this role is deeply embedded in classrooms, providing hands-on training, onboarding support for new teachers, and ongoing development to strengthen instructional practices and ensure consistency in program execution.
For franchise locations, this role supports pre-opening and opening phases, traveling onsite to train teams on Tierra Encantada standards, systems, and expectations to ensure successful and aligned center launches.
Across both environments, this role focuses on elevating the quality of care and education, reinforcing curriculum fidelity, and modeling best practices. The Field Training Specialist partners closely with Center Directors and leadership teams to support teacher development and drive consistency across all centers.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Center Support (Primary Focus)
- Provide in-classroom, hands-on training and support to teachers and classroom teams
- Participate in onboarding support for new teachers during their first 30 days, including modeling and guided practice (up to 2 classroom observations in their first 30 days)
- Observe classrooms and deliver clear, actionable feedback to strengthen teaching practices
- Reinforce curriculum implementation, classroom management, and child engagement strategies
- Support consistency and quality across classrooms through ongoing, embedded training
Franchise Opening Support
- Travel to franchise locations during pre-opening and opening phases
- Deliver structured training on Tierra Encantada standards, systems, and classroom expectations
- Support franchise teams in preparing classrooms, implementing curriculum, and launching operations
- Ensure alignment to brand standards and readiness prior to and during opening
Staff Development Support
- Identify skill gaps within center staff and partner with Center Directors to support staff growth
- Assist in developing targeted support plans for teachers as needed
- Facilitate training sessions or refreshers based on center or network needs
- Promote consistency in teaching practices across all locations
Quality & Program Execution
- Ensure fidelity to curriculum, routines, and classroom expectations
- Support centers in maintaining high-quality learning environments
- Provide guidance on best practices related to child development and classroom operations
Collaboration
- Partner with Center Directors and leadership teams to align on staff development priorities
- Communicate observations, progress, and opportunities for improvement
- Support broader training and opening initiatives as needed

Work Environment & Expectations

- Regular travel for franchise pre-opening and opening support
- Onsite presence during center openings (up to 5 days as needed)
- Occasional evening trainings
- Ability to move between classrooms or centers as needed
- Physical ability to fully engage in classroom environments (sitting on the floor, interacting with children, etc.)
Position Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in training development and delivery, ideally in an early childhood, education, or multi-site operational setting
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and staff development
Pay and Schedule
This is a full time, exempt position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday
The starting salary range for this position is $65K – $75K and depends on qualifications, education, and experience.
