Merchology seeks an Inventory Specialist for our Receiving team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist is a critical role that specializes in picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A successful Inventory Specialist will:

  • Receive inventory using Merchology’s processes, inventory and ERP systems.
  • Perform cycle counts within ShipHawk.
  • Safely operate order picker equipment.
  • Print orders to pick and pack using scanners.
  • Ability to work independently at times throughout the day.
  • Ability to give directions to other team members.
  • Ability to implement ideas and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Understanding of equipment and process knowledge to troubleshoot intermediate level order issues.
  • Count and inspect all products related to the work order.
  • Communicate between departments in the company through HubSpot and emails.
  • Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to drive a dock truck for pickup and delivery
  • Ability to stand for 5-8 hours per day
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Positive attitude and collaborative
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, especially Excel.
  • Ability to identify colors and shades
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to respect and follow Merchology’s core values while working toward company goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting
