Summary of the Job:

The Junior Advisory Program is a foundational initiative designed to cultivate and refine the sales skills of individuals in the early stages of their financial careers. This program is crucial in supporting a sales team focused on investment advisory, insurance, and fixed income sales. Participants will gain valuable hands-on experience, learn directly from industry professionals, and play an integral role in the ongoing success of the team.

About This Role:

Client Support: Assist brokers in managing client accounts, including processing orders, responding to client inquiries, and providing general account support.

Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining client records, preparing reports, and processing documentation.

Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of client paperwork. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth client onboarding and follow-up. Proactive outreach to schedule client review meetings for advisors.

Trade Execution: Support brokers in executing trades and monitoring trade confirmations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Develop Sales Skills: Hone your ability to effectively communicate and build relationships by calling on warm leads provided by other brokers, allowing you to practice and enhance your sales techniques in a supportive environment.

Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies. Assist with compliance-related tasks, including documentation and reporting.

Learning and Development: Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance industry knowledge and stay up to date with market developments.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients, senior advisors, and internal teams

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the financial services industry; takes direction well and applies feedback constructively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems or financial platforms a plus
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in all work

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a financial services environment, or relevant internships. Previous experience in sales support or administrative role is a plus.
  • Licensing: Pursuit of relevant FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 7, Series 66).

Desired:

  • Education: Bachelor鈥檚 degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred.

CFP or ChFC designation

Salary Range : $60,000-$80,000; based on experience

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
