At Center for Reproductive Medicine, we seek an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our andrology and embryology teams while helping shape the future of patient-centered fertility care.
In this leadership role, you’ll combine hands-on embryology expertise with operational oversight, quality management, regulatory compliance, and team development. You’ll work alongside physicians, laboratory leadership, and executive teams to ensure exceptional laboratory performance, outstanding patient outcomes, and a culture of collaboration and innovation.
This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position that works on-site in our Minneapolis, MN location. Presence and travel to our St. Paul, MN location also necessary. May require weekends and holidays based on laboratory needs.

What You’ll Do
Laboratory & Clinical Operations
- Oversee daily operations of embryology, andrology, and cryostorage servicesÂ
- Ensure laboratory protocols, quality standards, and workflows support excellence in patient careÂ
- Perform advanced embryology procedures and maintain competency across andrology functionsÂ
- Monitor laboratory equipment, QC programs, cryostorage systems, and inventory managementÂ
- Partner with physicians and leadership to improve efficiency, throughput, and patient satisfactionÂ
- Serve as the primary liaison for laboratory vendors and operational partnersÂ
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary laboratory teamÂ
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing cultureÂ
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and competency developmentÂ
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, and ongoing professional developmentÂ
- Create opportunities for mentorship and bench-side learningÂ
Regulatory & Quality Oversight
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, FDA, HIPAA, and SART requirementsÂ
- Lead inspection readiness activities, self-inspections, and corrective action plansÂ
- Maintain quality assurance and proficiency testing programsÂ
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and process enhancementsÂ
- Maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and documentation standardsÂ
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, Chemical Science, Physical Science, or related fieldÂ
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on embryology experience in a SART-registered, CLIA-approved IVF laboratoryÂ
- Experience in high-volume fertility programs with:Â
- 700+ annual oocyte retrievalsÂ
- 500+ annual embryo biopsy casesÂ
- Expertise in clinical embryology, andrology laboratory operations, and quality systemsÂ
- Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, FDA, and SART standardsÂ
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experienceÂ
- Experience mentoring and developing laboratory staffÂ
- Strong quality management and process improvement backgroundÂ
- EHR superuser or laboratory systems experienceÂ
