Maintenance Assistant

Aurora on France is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in our Ebenezer Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care)! This role monitors preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment, trains other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment at our spacious care center TCU in Edina, MN.

This position includes: 

• 80 hours per two weeks
• Day/evening shift 
• Every other weekend

This position is responsible for performing general maintenance duties consistent with the Preventative Maintenance Program. This position is also responsible for completing work orders and assisting custodian/housekeeping staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year One to Three Years
• Experience with mechanical equipment
• Special Boilers License - State MN (must have upon hire or be able to obtain within 90-days of hire date.) Upon Hire
• Drivers License Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
• 3 years Three to Five Years
