Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide for Southdale Hospital located in Edina, MN! This position is a 0.8 FTE and offers 64 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible!

 

Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

 

Schedule

 

Week 1
Wednesday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Thursday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Friday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

 

Week 2
Monday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Tuesday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Wednesday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Saturday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Sunday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM



Responsibilities

  • Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
  • Plates and serves food.
  • Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
  • Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
  • Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or
  • GED
