The pay range is $88,000.00 - $158,000.00

About the Job:   

The Product Manager - Inventory Purchasing and PositioningĀ is responsible forĀ executing the strategy and this role will leadĀ the deliveryĀ of modernĀ inventory systems. Our team and products enable the abilityĀ for Inventory Management teams to effectively manage the synchronized flow of inventoryĀ into and throughout Target'sĀ supplyĀ chain network.Ā This role will work closely withĀ supply chainĀ product/business partners, enterprise capacityĀ planningĀ and data science teams.Ā This roleĀ will work closely withĀ the engineering teams and lead the development of the prioritized features along with systematic scale and performance enhancements to support business growth.Ā Ā 

  

As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and businessĀ objectivesĀ (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritise the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers,Ā operations, dataĀ scientistsĀ and business partners to deliver a product.  

  

You will be the ā€œvoice of the productā€ with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritising the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team andĀ stakeholders. YouĀ will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals andĀ high standardsĀ of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:   

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of product managementĀ or product adjacentĀ experienceĀ 

  • Supply ChainĀ and/or Inventory Management product experience preferred

  • Purchase order execution or EDI domain knowledge desired

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Strong communication skills

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
