We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician for our Second Shift!
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety Monitoring
Perform in-process inspections, product checks, and quality testing throughout the shift.
Verify HACCP, CCP, and pre-op checks are completed and documented.
Monitor metal detector and equipment verification processes.
Production Support
- Work closely with production leads to identify and correct quality concerns.
- Support root-cause investigation for any deviations or non-conformances.
- Assist with QA holds, corrective actions, and documentation.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate QA logs, CCP records, and inspection sheets.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, SQF, and regulatory standards.
- Report any food safety or quality risks immediately to QA leadership.
Sanitation & Environmental Oversight
- Conduct ATP swabs, environmental monitoring, and allergen verification as needed.
- Ensure proper GMP practices are followed throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- 1--3 years of food manufacturing QA or production experience preferred.
- Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on 2nd shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move throughout the production facility.
