Provation is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and optimize Agile delivery within our anesthesia software development teams. In this role, you will act as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high quality clinical and operational software solutions that enhance patient safety, workflow efficiency, and overall care outcomes. The ideal candidate brings experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments, a deep understanding of Agile principles, and a proven ability to cultivate strong collaboration among software engineers, quality assurance professionals, clinical subject matter experts, and product stakeholders.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â Â
Agile Facilitation & Delivery Leadership Â
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions — ensuring that Agile best practices are followed. Â
- Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs aligned with clinical workflows, compliance requirements, and customer commitments. Â
- Promote continuous delivery of high-quality, compliant software releases within the healthcare domain. Â
Â
Team Coaching & Servant Leadership Â
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, self-organization, and accountability. Â
- Serve as a servant leader, helping teams remove impediments, manage cross -team dependencies, and maintain focus on delivery. Â
- Encourage an environment of transparency, trust, and psychological safety across teams. Â
Â
Collaboration Across Clinical and Technical Teams Â
- Partner with Product Management, QA, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs teams to ensure deliverables meet safety, usability, and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA). Â
- Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success teams to align development priorities with end-user needs and customer deployments. Â
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment for features that impact clinical data workflows, interoperability, or integrations with external systems (e.g., EMR, HL7, FHIR interfaces). Â
Â
Continuous Improvement & Metrics Â
- Drive process improvement through data-driven retrospectives, actionable feedback, and measurable performance improvements. Â
- Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput, defect trends) to stakeholders. Â
- Configure custom dashboard widgets and query based charts to monitor backloh health, spot bottlenecks, and facilitate data-driven discussions during daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency within the SDLC.
- Ensure Agile delivery practices align with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory documentation standards. Â

Compliance and Quality Mindset Â
- Partner with QA and Regulatory teams to plan and execute validation and verification cycles within sprints. Â
- Reinforce best practices for traceability, documentation, and risk management in software releases. Â

Required Qualifications:Â
Education & Experience GuidelinesÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant fieldÂ
- 3-5 years of experience in Agile software delivery, including experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.Â
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent certification required. Â
- Experience in healthcare software, medical devices, or other regulated industries strongly preferred. Â
- Proven track record of enabling high-performing Agile teams delivering enterprise or clinical software products. Â
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA automation, and DevOps practices. Â
- Familiarity with clinical software systems, healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and data privacy requirements (HIPAA). Â
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence and proven experience designing dashboards to track and improve team productivity
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills — especially with technical and non-technical (clinical) audiences. Â
- Strong servant leadership, collaboration, and conflict-resolution abilities. Â
- Highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments. Â
- Occasional travel may be requiredÂ

- Additional certifications such as SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus. Â
