Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting issues through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access control practices, and support orderly operations during peak guest activity, special events, and/or deliveries.
• Communicate with site contacts, local authorities, and Allied Universal leadership as needed regarding incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
