Flywheel Sourcing

Minneapolis, MNĀ  |Ā  Full-Time

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to own project schedules, information, and resources across a portfolio of client programs. You'll serve as the primary liaison with clients — defining project requirements, scope, objectives, and timelines to ensure their needs are met as we deliver consumer goods to retailers and end customers. Quickly solves problems that arise throughout the development and production process with a high sense of urgency. You'll also partner directly with our China operations and factory network to keep every project on track and meeting expectations. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven by a genuine sense of ownership from kickoff to delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

  • Partner with clients to onboard new and existing programs, from concept through delivery.
  • Build detailed project timelines that deliver goods within customer-defined parameters.
  • Oversee project procurement by working directly with our bilingual Asia operations team.
  • Anticipate and manage project obstacles and unexpected events. Demonstrate resilience by developing and implementing strategies to solve issues as they arrive.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly as they arise.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, quickly communicating information clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Partner with management to identify potential risks and develop strategies to get ahead of them.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workload across the team.
  • Look for opportunities to grow client accounts through product expansion and other strategies.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Canva.
  • 2+ years of experience working with factories in Asia and with national retailers.
  • A self-starter mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and proactive about finding solutions.
  • A problem-solving orientation and the confidence to challenge established norms when it serves the outcome.
  • A track record of building strong internal and external relationships that deliver on shared business objectives.
  • Clear, adaptable communication skills, including experience working with team members for whom English is a second language — and a willingness to use multiple tools, including video, to make sure communication lands.
  • Flexibility to occasionally handle time-sensitive issues outside normal business hours with our Asia operations team (often via WeChat or Zoom) to keep projects on schedule.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients who have multiple projects and needs.
Comfortable at pivoting between tasks daily and at times with short notice. Ā
