About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Resource Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in Brooklyn Center. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource room support to middle school students with IEPs

• Deliver specialized instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings

• Collaborate with general education teachers on accommodations and modifications

• Monitor and track student progress toward IEP goals

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation

• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota teaching license (Special Education preferred)

• Experience working with middle school learners

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Passion for supporting diverse learning needs
