About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Brooklyn Park. This full-time role involves working with students who have diverse learning needs and providing targeted instructional support to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs across various disability categories
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Qualifications
Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or ability to obtain)
Experience working with diverse learners preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting student growth and individualized learning
