Job Description
Responsible for development and execution of sourcing and vendor management strategies for assigned spend categories and supplier portfolios. Performs strategic and tactical planning for sourcing initiatives, spend management activities, and vendor selection efforts. Leads competitive sourcing events, evaluates supplier capabilities and commercial proposals, analyzes pricing and market data, and negotiates contracts and business terms with medium to large suppliers. Partners with business line stakeholders to define requirements, mitigate risk, optimize supplier relationships, and deliver value through effective sourcing and negotiation strategies. Prepares management reporting and recommendations to support sourcing decisions and supplier investment strategies.

Negotiates to optimize client’s budget and other financial responsibilities; Â
Performs sourcing and planning; Â
Reviews business standards for vendor performance; Â
Coordinates activities related to anticipating, negotiating, and executing the managed contracts; Â
Assists with contractual negotiation activities to ensure quality and compliance with contract procedures and standards; Â
Collaborates with business line clients to establish plans, standards, and procedures that will add value to strategic vendor relationships and mitigates any risks to the company; Â

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with design, development and utilization of formal IT vendor contracts with internal or external customers
Experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data
Experience with the management of suppliers to agreed contractual services
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Six or more years of experience with design, development and utilization of formal IT vendor contracts with internal or external customers
Location Expectations:
This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
