In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the entire paint process while continuing to support multiple departments to keep production running smoothly.   As a Paint Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to build deep expertise in paint systems, contribute to product quality and consistency, and cross-train with other operations teams to support overall efficiency and success.   The right person will enjoy competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a clean, safe, and supportive work environment—plus the satisfaction of knowing your work helps drive our continued growth and innovation!   Key Responsibilities   Paint Process & Application Own and support the entire paint process, from equipment preparation through final finish and inspection. Set up, operate, and maintain High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint systems to ensure consistent, high-quality application. Mix, prepare, and apply coatings according to specifications and quality standards. Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of paint equipment and spray systems. Inspect painted products for quality, consistency, and defects; perform touch-ups or rework as needed. Follow all safety, environmental, and material-handling procedures related to paint operations.   Cross-Department Support Cross-train and perform core functions across many Operations departments to maintain workflow balance Inbound: Receive, Evaluation, & Test (Automated and Manual) Value Added Services: Cosmetic refurbishing & restoration, Functional repair Outbound: Inventory Control & Order Processing (Product storage, Pick, Pack, Ship) Maintain a high level of knowledge of departmental processes and procedures. Act as a communication bridge between operations teams and internal partners. Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.   Continuous Improvement Champion innovation and best practices. QualificationsRequired Qualifications / Education High School Diploma or GED. 2 years of experience working in a warehouse, production, distribution, electronic repair, or quality inspection environment. 1 year of experience using and maintaining High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint systems Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and iOS/Android applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.   Preferred Skills / Experience Familiarity with standard warehouse procedures, work instructions, and best practices. Ability to learn and adapt to evolving technology and software. Strong visual acuity for detailed inspection and computer-based work. Ability to independently lift and move up to 45 pounds during a shift. Ability to push/pull carts loaded with heavy equipment. Frequent movement throughout warehouse and ability to reach, extend, and handle materials as needed. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with team members. Adaptability to changing operational needs and priorities.
