Pay Range:
$16.80 - $23.10All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.Â

Bio-Techne is seeking outstanding undergraduates, recent graduates and/or graduate students in Information Technology/Cybersecurity for 2025 summer internships focused on helping to support and innovate Bio-Techne’s Cybersecurity environment.
We are looking for academically accomplished, highly motivated, and energetic individuals with a strong interest in Cybersecurity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Daily Security Operations
Monitor SIEM Alerts/Dashboards
Respond to AntiVirus EDR escalations
Assist weak password audits
Vulnerability Management
Patch high-risk vulns affecting individual Windows endpoints
Upgrade unsupported OS
Security Awareness Training
Build training content
Phishing simulations
Ensure employee compliance with completing training
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Basic understanding of information security concepts and principles
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
Basic scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with security tools (vulnerability scanners, SIEM)
Relevant coursework in cybersecurity topics
