The Engineering Manager provides technical vision, leadership, and strategic direction for a team of software developers building scalable, secure, and innovative healthcare SaaS applications. This role drives engineering excellence, fosters a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and healthcare standards. The Engineering Manager partners with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities, deliver high-impact solutions, and support continuous improvement in clinical workflows and operational efficiency.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â
Technical Leadership & ArchitectureÂ
- Guides the architecture and design of cloud-native healthcare SaaS applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Â
- Guide secure architecture design and integration of AI/ML capabilities.Â
- Set technical direction and standards for full-stack development (C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL Server).Â
- Oversee adoption of microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Â
Healthcare Compliance & Data GovernanceÂ
- Ensure solutions adhere to healthcare data standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and secure coding practices.Â
- Lead the development of interoperable systems that integrate with EHRs and clinical platforms.Â
- Stay current with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements.Â
Agile Execution & Strategic PlanningÂ
- Drive agile methodologies and DevOps practices across the engineering team.Â
- Translate business goals into technical deliverables, managing timelines, risks, and resources.Â
- Champion continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools.Â
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and improve software quality.Â
Cross-Functional Collaboration & CommunicationÂ
- Collaborate effectively with product, clinical, compliance, executive, customer success, and client service teams.Â
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.Â
- Represent engineering in strategic planning and technology evaluation forums.Â
People LeadershipÂ
- Coach, mentor, and manage performance to foster individual growth and accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Â
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent by building strong capabilities and creating clear career development pathways/providing opportunities for continuous learning and advancement.Â

 Required Qualifications:Â
Education & Experience GuidelinesÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Â
- 5 years of relevant experienceÂ
- Demonstrated leadership ability in projects or team collaborationÂ
- Experience in healthcare SaaS environments and cloud platforms.Â
- Ability to travel 10-15% is requiredÂ
Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:Â
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.Â
- Certifications in cloud architecture, agile leadership, or healthcare IT standards.Â
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in healthcare.Â
