Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) for a full-time direct hire opportunity with a design/build mechanical contractor in Bloomington, MN. This role focuses on leading the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Develop drawings, specifications, and technical reports

• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams

• Review shop drawings and support change order processes

• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in construction

• Experience designing HVAC and mechanical systems

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel

• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
