Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Light Duty Mechanic to join our team at our University of MN Medical Center- East Bank campus in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full time position offering 80 hours per every 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible!

 

Performs a wide range of light maintenance duties for the University hospital complex in it's entirety. 

 

Schedule

 

6am-230pm M-F

 


Responsibilities

  • Installation of blood pressure cuffs, bulletin and grease boards, shelving, plant hangers, coat hooks, dispensers of all kinds and corner guards
  • Replace and repair various other tasks such as: keyboard trays, hang mirror and pictures, replace casters (chairs and IV poles), chairs, sleeper chairs, wood side chairs, and shower and towel bars
  • Performs many other tasks such as: assemble furniture and deliver, safety check wall rails, minor re-configuration of modular furniture, shower and towel bars, and repair of housekeeping equipment


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a maintenance role or similar
