Nutrition Services Aide

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide at our UMMC - West Bank location, in Minneapolis, MN! This position is about 25 hours bi-weekly, on day/evening shift. This position is not benefit eligible.

The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

Typical Work Schedule:

Week 1: Tuesday- 430PM-8PM, Thursday- 430PM-8PM, Friday- 430PM-8PM
Week 2: Tuesday- 430PM-8PM, Thursday- 430PM-8PM, Saturday- 430PM-8PM, Sunday- 430PM-8PM

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
