Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician - Level 1 is responsible for assisting the shop productivity through various stages of the production and repair processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment.
Operate power tools.
Prep products for assembly.
Assemble products in various stages of production.
Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
General shop responsibilities.
Maintains a clean work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Experience in forklift operation; ability to become forklift certified.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to repeat motions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Follow all safety policies.
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
