The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando

The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.

Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed.
Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards.
Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner.
Performs imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)
Florida Radiology License
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
