路聽聽聽聽聽聽 AdventHealth Minneola's 80-bed hospital will bring inpatient care to the growing population of South Lake County.聽 Spanning approximately 204,000 square feet, the hospital will include an emergency department; full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; critical care and general medical/surgical rooms.聽 We are proud to be delivering clinical solutions for the mind, body and spirit in the Minneola community.聽 聽
The role you鈥檒l contribute: Evaluates and Conducts medically prescribed Speech Language pathology treatment programs.
The value you鈥檒l bring to the team:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform speech language, cognitive and swallowing skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Designs and Implements a treatment plan of care utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines and patient's needs. Monitors patient response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Documents and Charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and procedures
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversees the care provided by therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards
The expertise and experiences you鈥檒l need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 A license or provisional license in the State as a Speech and Language Pathologist
Preferred qualifications:聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA)
