Taher, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilites Maintenance Technician to help keep the Minnetonka Corporate office clean and running smoothly.Â
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility through a combination of custodial services and general building maintenance. This role supports daily operations by performing routine cleaning, seasonal tasks, and basic repairs while promptly addressing facility issues to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of interior and exterior building areas

Move, receive, and organize supplies, equipment, and stock as needed

Perform basic maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, hanging lights, replacing fixtures, and minor electrical troubleshooting (non-licensed)

Respond to building issues such as clogged drains, door hardware adjustments, and minor wall or ceiling repairs

Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow shoveling, ice melt application, and debris removal

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and cleaning equipment

Monitor building systems and report larger repair needs or safety hazards

Maintain organized, properly stocked maintenance and cleaning areas

Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies

Provide professional, courteous interaction with staff and visitors

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or building operations preferred

Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems a plus

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
