As a Fresh Foods Supervisor at Save More Marketplace, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the fresh foods department to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service. You will assist in overseeing daily operations, supervising team members, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring product availability. This role is essential in helping to create a positive shopping experience for our customers by upholding the quality and presentation of our fresh food offerings across departments such as Deli, Bakery, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist team members in the preparation and merchandising of fresh food products.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to ensure product freshness and availability.
  • Train and support staff to maintain high service and quality standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Promote health and safety policies within the department.
  • Previous experience in fresh foods or grocery retail, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
