Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant – Finance provides administrative and clerical support to the Accounting team. This role also serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the administrative offices, helping create a warm and professional experience for all.
Hours: M-F, 8 to 5 pm
Salary:Â $18 starting wage
Key Responsibilities
Purpose
Support the Ranch’s mission and organizational goals by assisting the finance team with basic accounting tasks, including preparing daily bank deposits and supporting accounts payable remittances.
Follow administrative policies, procedures, and directives while contributing to efficient and accurate office operations.
Caring
Create a welcoming and professional environment by greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
Demonstrate respect for all individuals and perspectives while supporting a trauma-informed, compassionate workplace.
Sort and distribute daily mail and assist with general office needs to support staff and guests.
- Manage office supplies and equipment (copiers, postage meters, etc.) while learning and adapting to evolving office systems and processes.
Learning
Collaborate with team members to improve workflows, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Support sustainable excellence and continual improvement of the organization.
What We’re Looking For
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual with strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while meeting deadlines
Basic knowledge of accounting and banking processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and Excel
Ability to type and accurately enter data into computer systems
Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older at the time of application.  High school diploma or equivalent.  Â
- Must pass a background check, including criminal, abuse & neglect
- Must pass a motor vehicle check
High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred
One year of business-related work experience required
