Job Description
The In-Home Sales Representative role focuses on building genuine, trust-based relationships with homeowners while presenting a premier portfolio of residential exterior home improvement products, including seamless siding and replacement windows. You will meet with pre-qualified customers in their homes, listen carefully to their needs, and provide tailored solutions that reflect a strong commitment to quality, service, and long-term customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Meet with pre-qualified homeowner leads in their homes; no cold calling or independent prospecting is required.
- Conduct thorough in-home consultations to understand each customer’s needs, goals, and concerns related to siding, windows, roofing, gutters, and other exterior improvements.
- Present a portfolio of residential exterior home improvement products, including seamless siding and replacement windows, in a clear, professional, and consultative manner.
- Actively listen and ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer priorities, preferences, and budget, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Develop customized, solution-oriented proposals that align product recommendations with the homeowner’s needs, quality expectations, and long-term value.
- Guide customers through the decision-making process, addressing objections and questions with patience, clarity, and integrity.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, proposals, and orders using data entry, order processing, and sales administration tools.
- Follow up with customers as needed to support them through the sales process and ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation and service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service and sales support, to ensure an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
- Consistently work toward achieving strong closing ratios and average sale sizes by delivering high-quality, customer-focused consultations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Familiarity with exterior home improvement products such as siding, windows, roofing, and gutters is an advantage.
- History in sales support or customer support roles is helpful for managing the full sales cycle.
- Comfort using digital tools or software for sales tracking, data entry, and order processing.
- A consultative mindset with the ability to translate homeowner needs into tailored product recommendations.
- Results-oriented attitude with interest in achieving strong closing ratios and larger average sale sizes.

Work Environment
This is a field-based, in-home sales role where you regularly travel to customers’ residences to conduct scheduled appointments. You work primarily with pre-qualified leads generated by a dedicated marketing team, allowing you to focus on relationship-building and consultative selling rather than cold calling or prospecting. The environment emphasizes professional, respectful interactions with homeowners and a strong commitment to quality and service in every consultation. You will use standard sales tools and systems for data entry, order processing, and tracking customer interactions. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
