Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Entrance Access in Simpsonville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $13.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and promptly communicate observed concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
