Tues-Fri 6a-4:30p 4/10 hour days
- Maintains daily aquatic weed control on golf courses and residential ponds.
- Maintains and installs various aeration systems.
- Maintains fish feeders.
- Assists with nuisance wildlife control and removal of dead fish and other animals from lakes.
- Maintains SOA littoral plantings and waterscaping.
- Maintains and operates aquatic weed harvesting equipment.
- Provide general small engine maintenance.
- Is consistently at work on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write reports, and comprehend procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software and internet software.
- Valid driver’s license.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- The employee will be operating a boat.
- The employee needs to know how to back up a boat to place it into the lakes.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
- The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Candidate must be bale to pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Records Check, Background Check and Drug Screen.
- Candidate must be able to use a medical respirator.
