Who Are We Looking For?  

 

We are looking for a cook who will prepare healthy and tasty meals and snacks for the children in our centers! Your work will ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow!

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
  • Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed.
  • Practice familiarity with proper conditions and food storage, the ability to understand the needs of children with food allergies, and to implement methods of food cross-contamination avoidance. 
  • Basic math skills required for measuring and calculating serving portions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Age: Be a minimum of 18 years old.  
  • Certification & Education: 
    • High School Diploma or GED. 
    • Food Handlers Certification.
      • ServSafe Certification is a major plus!
  • Experience: 1 year experience in a licensed childcare setting as a cook.
  • Training Requirements:    
    • Possess CPR and First Aid certification. 
    • Pass a Background Check. 
  •  Shift: Ability to work 7:30am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday.
