Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

📍 Location: Mishawaka, IN
🕒 Schedule: PRN, flexible hours including weekends for the inpatient/outpatient therapy department in Mishawaka.

Join a dynamic rehab team where your hands-on care helps patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you’ll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized treatment plans, track progress, and support patients throughout their recovery journey.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and treatments as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.

• Document patient progress clearly and accurately using standardized assessments.

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.

• Collaborate with the care team during treatment planning, discharge preparation, and daily huddles.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness.

• Maintain therapy equipment and report any issues to ensure a safe environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Active PTA license in the State of Indiana

• 1–2 years in a clinical setting preferred (new grads welcome!)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt to varying treatment loads and schedules

• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care
