The Bilingual Information Referral Specialist/Office Coordinator provides information, resources and referrals to parents and families who call or who walk in to the Family Resource Center.  This community based setting is an independent facility off-site from Mission Hospital.  As a customer service provider, the position requires strong communication skills for meeting the various needs of the community and knowledge of local community resources and programs. The specialist also assists in coordinating and promoting Center Programs and develops the calendars of events.  In the Office Coordinator role, duties include providing day-to-day operational oversight for the center, ordering supplies, staff communication coordination and facility management.

Required qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in direct service with clients, customer service, administrative support in health or human services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: College courses in human services, psychology or social work or in business administration.
- Coursework/Training: Customer Service training.
- AIRS - Certified Information and Referral Specialist upon hire
- 2 years of experience in Information and Referral, Business Administration and Human Services and/or Office Coordination inhuman Services Environment.
