Call Center Customer Service Representative/Operator screens income calls regarding general information, eye medical procedures, cost and financing. 聽Customer Service Representative provides service information, resolves customer complaints, offers solutions, and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for Scheduling and updating appointments, and updates demographic information during and after a call. 聽Ensures that the image of Shah Eye Center is represented with utmost professionalism.
聽Work Experience Requirements聽
路聽Minimum of one year customer service experience
路聽Excellent telephone communication skills
路聽Ability to multi-task: answer calls, document and summarize details, while speaking to callers
路聽Organizational skills and attention to detail
路聽Knowledge of medical terminology
路 Bilingual (English/Spanish)

聽Job Responsibilities and Duties聽
At all times, employee is responsible for:
1.聽Protecting the physician鈥檚 license;
2.聽Maintaining confidential any and all information accessible while performing job duties;
3.聽Staying in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, OSHA, HIPAA, OIG, and any other legal and/or contractual obligations.
Duties of the Job:
路聽Screen incoming calls providing prospective patients with relevant information including but not limited to: 聽medical procedures, cost and financing, general practice information.
路聽Uses customer service skills when dealing with patients over the phone
路聽Routes calls or takes messages.
路聽Ensures that all demographic information is correct and that all insurance information is collected.
路聽Schedules/Reschedules appointments for patients using Medinformatix Software.
路聽Phone Tree calls patient to remind them of appointment 1 day prior to service.
路聽Contacts/Verifies missed appointments/yearly鈥檚 for follow up. If unable to reach client, sends a Reminder Notification Card.聽
路聽Check company voicemail and return phone calls.聽
路聽Update board with daily patient count for easy glance of current numbers per doctor/location.
路聽Verify Fax Folder; distribute into designated folders and import any information needed into patient鈥檚 chart.
路聽Assist with new hire training for Call Center.
路聽Phones are not to ring more than 3 times.
路 Other duties as assigned.
