We are seeking a full-time Financial Counselor for medical billing to join our Central Billing Office team. 

Wage Range DOE 


In this position you will:

  • Review accounts and determine if payers have made appropriate payments
  • Identify delinquent self-pay accounts, perform various collection actions including contacting patients by phone and follow company collection policies
  • Evaluate patient financial status and establish budget payment plans when appropriate
  • Answer inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance companies
  • Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints through review of account, researching credit balances, etc.
  • Must have understanding of insurance contracts.
  • Comply with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous medical insurance billing experience in a healthcare organization preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education in a medical insurance billing program.
