Job Posting: Quality & Production Coordinator 


Reports to: Quality & Safety Supervisor

About the Role:

The Quality & Production Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring accurate production documentation. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Planning, and Maintenance teams to improve efficiency, reduce quality issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to spend time on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine quality inspections and verify compliance with product specifications.
  • Assist in investigating quality issues, customer complaints, and internal nonconformances.
  • Maintain quality records and inspection reports.
  • Ensure products meet company quality standards before release.
  • Maintain production and quality documentation.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance and internal/external audits.
  • Ensure production records are complete and accurate.
  • Provide timely communication regarding production and quality issues.
  • Support inventory accuracy for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Experience in plastics, extrusion, or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or similar problem-solving tools.
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
