About the Role

  • Responsible for regular Vehicle Transfers from Mitchell to Oacoma and back to facilitate having vehicles and trailers available for daily loading and deliveries to other locations for emergency orders, etc
  • Basic mechanical abilities: training will be provided as this position will require the ability to perform Pre trip/Post Trip hooking and unhooking of equipment, changing wiper blades, greasing of 5th wheel plates and additional tasks as needed
  • Flexibility as needed days/hours including weekend availability during inclement weather.  May need weekend availability to ensure trucks are available for Monday deliveries
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of packaged goods to designated large and small format customers for emergency orders as needed
  • Will assist in the merchandising, rotation, and proper storage of delivered products
  • Additional Duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with previous sales, customer service, and/or delivery experience.
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment (we will train; you MUST have your permit before starting). Basic knowledge of State and Federal D.O.T. vehicle requirements, rules, and regulations
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Strong organizational, time management and decision-making skills with the ability to work within a highly distracting environment
  • Must possess intermediate math and personal computing skills with the ability to operate hand-held computing devices
  • Must have the ability to operate 2-wheel handcarts as well as powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification
  • Ability to perform physical tasks which will include the lifting and moving of 50 lbs. or more and pulling/pushing product loads weighing from 250 lbs. to 1,000 lbs
  • Physical mobility to make frequent trips in and out of vehicle, to and from customer accounts. The repetitive motion of one's neck, wrist, fingers, and/or arms. Prolonged sitting, twisting, kneeling, and bending
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
