Store Manager & Respiratory Sales Lead

Moab, Utah | On-site | Full-Time

Location: Moab, UT (on-site)

Reports to: Regional Manager

Compensation: Base + Commission (Uncapped)

Alpine Home Medical, a family-oriented, award-winning provider of Durable Medical Equipment, is looking for a motivated leader to grow our presence in Moab and the surrounding region. You'll start in a sales-first capacity, building referral relationships with local physicians, sleep labs, and therapists - and as our Moab retail location comes online, you'll step into running it day to day. If you like the idea of building something from the ground up in a tight-knit community, this is that role.

Position Overview

This is a dual-phase role. Phase 1 (now): focus is on territory-based respiratory equipment sales - generating orders through referral relationships and building sustained, referral-driven growth.

Phase 2 (upon store launch): the role expands to include full accountability for the Moab store's profitability, staff development, inventory, and customer experience, while continuing to drive sales. We'll give you a clear runway and support during that transition - you won't be doing both jobs at full intensity on day one.

What You'll Do

Store Management (beginning at launch)

  • Run day-to-day store operations, including revenue, collections, inventory, and customer service.
  • Hire, coach, and schedule a small local team; run regular team meetings.
  • Track store financials monthly and adjust spending and staffing to hit budget.
  • Keep customer files accurate and compliant with Medicare/Medicaid and payer requirements.
  • Coordinate deliveries and patient care timing with the clinical and delivery teams.
  • Keep the retail space organized and presentable.
  • Take occasional on-call shifts and home/office visits - we'll walk through the typical rotation and frequency during the interview.

Respiratory Sales (from day one)

  • Build a territory sales plan targeting referral sources - sleep labs, physicians, and therapists.
  • Use our CRM to track leads and follow through to close.
  • Educate patients and referral partners on our respiratory equipment and services.
  • Represent Alpine at health fairs, seminars, and community events.
  • Keep clean records of sales activity, expenses, and reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with regional leadership on local marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience managing people and hitting revenue or performance goals - any industry.
  • Sales experience preferred; healthcare, DME, or HME background is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Comfortable with basic billing concepts, or willing to learn Medicare/Medicaid/third-party insurance billing.
  • Strong communicator who can coach a small team and build referral relationships in person.
  • Comfortable with a CRM and general office software.
  • High school diploma/GED required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a real asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Why Alpine Home Medical

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Quarterly bonus potential and uncapped sales commission.
  • Real advancement opportunity - you'd be one of the first people to help stand up this location.
  • A genuinely team-oriented, family-owned culture.
