We are seeking a motivated and dependable Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our Mobile clinical team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient cardiology setting.


This is a full-time, day shift position with no weekends and paid holidays off.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care
  • Obtain vital signs and medical histories
  • Perform manual blood pressure readings and EKGs
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Document patient information accurately in the EMR/EHR system
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient communication
  • Maintain and organize patient records
  • Support efficient clinic workflow and patient experience
  • Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care


Qualifications

  • Current CMA or RMA certification preferred
  • Previous medical assistant or healthcare experience preferred
  • Cardiology experience preferred but not required
  • Experience performing EKGs and taking vital signs preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment
  • Dependable transportation required
  • Must be comfortable traveling between Mobile office locations as needed
