Responsibilities

Operate asphalt paving equipment safely and efficiently
Operate asphalt rollers to achieve proper compaction
Perform asphalt raking and hand finishing
Assist with paving roads, parking lots, commercial sites, and other paving projects
Work alongside crew members to complete projects on schedule
Perform general labor duties as needed
Inspect equipment before and after use
Maintain a safe and productive job site
Follow company safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Previous asphalt paving experience is required

Experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, skid steers, or related heavy equipment preferred

Experience as an asphalt raker or paving laborer is a plus

Ability to work outdoors in hot weather and varying conditions

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods

Reliable transportation

Valid driver's license preferred

Dependable with a strong work ethic
