Job DetailsJob Location: Coburn's of Mobile (67) - Mobile, AL 36607Summary The HVAC Outside Salesperson is responsible for increasing sales and profit through the acquisition and development of new business, maintaining existing business and providing excellent customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities  Focus Area: Performance Measure: Job Take Offs Ability to read blueprint specifications for job take off's and prepare submittals as needed.  Focus Area: Performance Measure: Inventory Control Customer is properly and efficiently assisted in the order process as a result of properly maintained inventory and proactive communication of inventory needs. Focus Area: Performance Measure: Increase Sales Sales & Profits are increased by properly merchandising new products, maintaining a clean and inviting counter, increasing individual customer’s sales volumes, and retaining customer loyalty. Focus Area: Performance Measure: Customer Service Customer loyalty is maintained by providing Coburn’s exceptional level of customer service as measured through increased sales and profits, customer retention, customer feedback and/or satisfaction ratings. Focus Area: Performance Measure: Knowledge Development Knowledge is developed and maintained in order to increase credibility with customers, as measured through increased sales and customer loyalty. QualificationsEducation & Experience  High School diploma or equivalent preferred OR 2 years of experience in related industry. Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to read a map and/or follow written directions. Must pass company required drug screen and physical. Must be a minimum age of 21 years old and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Occasionally works with tools and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. A consistent presence at work is required.  In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
